📦 How should I prepare my goods for liquidation?

Properly preparing your inventory before liquidation helps streamline the process and can increase your potential return. Whether you're shipping customer returns, shelf pulls, or overstock, a little organization goes a long way.

📋 1. Sort and Consolidate

  • Group similar items together (e.g., electronics, apparel, tools)

  • Avoid mixing fragile with heavy or bulky items

  • Keep items in their original packaging when possible

📦 2. Choose the Right Shipping Format

We accept goods in various formats, but here’s what works best:

  • Gaylord boxes: Ideal for loose, varied goods

  • Shrink-wrapped pallets: Standard for large-volume inventory

  • Case-packed boxes: Great for new, shelf-ready merchandise

  • Mixed pallets: Acceptable, especially for general merchandise

If you’re unsure, we’ll advise you during the review process.

📑 3. Include Manifests (If Available)

  • While not required, manifests help us sell your goods faster and more efficiently

  • Include basic details if available, like product name, quantity, UPC, and condition

  • You can upload them during the “Get Started” process

🧼 4. Remove Sensitive Labels or Branding

  • Take off price tags, store labels, or barcodes that could reveal original retail channels

  • We can also assist with this step during processing if needed, just ask when you speak to a team member

📷 5. Add Photos (Optional, but Encouraged)

  • Photos can help us evaluate and present your lot more effectively

  • Include shots of the entire pallet, close-ups of item condition, and packaging

  • If you add photos, we can sell your lot much faster than having to take them later

🛠️ 6. Make It Shippable

  • Reinforce damaged boxes

  • Label each pallet or case clearly (if applicable)

  • Secure goods tightly to avoid shifting during transit
